2 Component Polyurethane coating Introduction
2 Component Polyurethane coatings have excellent film forming temperature, strong adhesion, good wear resistance, high hardness, good chemical resistance and weather resistance, and are widely used as industrial protection, wood furniture and automotive coatings. Waterborne two-component polyurethane coatings combine the high performance of two-component solvent-based polyurethane coatings with the low VOC content of waterborne coatings, making them a research hotspot in the coatings industry. The aqueous two-component polyurethane coating is composed of an -OH-containing aqueous polyol and a -NCO-based low-viscosity polyisocyanate curing agent, and its coating properties are mainly determined by the composition and structure of the hydroxy resin.
