XYL / TOL Solvent Based Acrylic Resin Fast Drying Weather Resistance Type
Product description
Thermoplastic Acrylic Resins are a class of thermoplastic resins made by polymerizing acrylic acid, methacrylic acid and derivatives thereof such as esters, nitriles, and amides.
The thermoplastic acrylic resin can be repeatedly subjected to heat softening and cooling solidification. Generally, it is a linear polymer compound, which may be a homopolymer or a copolymer, has good physical and mechanical properties, is excellent in weather resistance, chemical resistance, and water resistance, and has high gloss and color retention. The thermoplastic acrylic resin used in the coating industry generally has a molecular weight of 75,000 to 120,000. It is commonly used in combination with nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate butyrate and perchloroethylene resin to improve film properties.
